This winter, 2009/2010, Trophy Mountain Buffalo Ranch will be open for it's first winter season. Activities available at the ranch are Sleigh Rides & Snowshoe tours, with Helmcken Falls 30 minutes away, a must see in winter! Also available in the area is Dog Sledding, Nordic Skiing, Downhill Skiing and Snowmobiling. Come see Wells Gray Park like you’ve never seen it before. It truly is a Winter Wonderland!

Sleigh Rides: Come enjoy a calm yet exciting sleigh ride through the wintered forest! Be warmed by a bon fire and hot chocolate at our mid-way point. Listen to the sound of hooves and the serenity of the wilderness on our 1 hour ride.
Rate: $25 per person $60 family - 2 adults & up to 3 children under 16
Guided Snowshoe Tours: It's a walk in the park...well actually the woods! Our guided snowshoe tours are a great way of seeing the park and areas surrounding Wells Gray Park on foot. Our 1.5 hour informative tour is filled with fun, adventure and possible wildlife sightings. Great for everyone whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or first timer! Keeps you warm and fit!
Rate: $20 per person - includes snowshoe rental Minimum age of 8 years old

| Dog Sledding:
If you have not experienced dog sledding than you are missing out on quite an adventure. Alaskan Husky Adventures offers dog sledding tours from half a day to 4 day packages, carried by they're team of well trained, athletic, Alaskan Racing Huskies. Nordic/Cross Country Skiing: With as much as 85kms of groomed trails, Nordic/Cross Country Skiing is a breeze in Wells Gray Park and Clearwater. Groomed track set trails can be found within the Candle Creek Ski Trail System and just south of Dawson Falls.
